Journal “International Higher Education”

According to University World News (www.universityworldnews.com/article.php?story=20110211204225750) International Higher Education (IHE), published by the Center for International Higher Education (CIHE) at Boston College in the US, seems to be one of the most accessible in the non-English speaking world.

IHE has been issued in several world languages, in that reading in own language is more accessible for perception. Particularly, it is mentioned, that for the past two years this journal has been electronically published by the Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency for Education (IQAA) and available throughout the Russian-speaking area. Altbach - Director of CIHE, told that with no budget direct translation from the original, the foreign-language partners could include articles on local issues of higher education in their journals.

Dissemination of information on higher education is one of way to achieve IQAA’s objectives - assistance and consultation for higher education institutions in raising of effectiveness, competitiveness and stability in different directions of education activity.
